Your hands maybe tied
But your heart isn’t
Your feet may be chained
But your mind isn’t
Your body maybe cocooned in a situation
But your spirit isn’t
With hands tied and feet chained
Choose to pray
Lift up a song
Shout a praise
For nobody can stop your heart to love God
Your spirit to praise
And your mind to choose
You may look helpless
But definitely not hopeless
For whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Will be saved
WordPress Daily Prompt: Urgent
I like the title “Helpless but not hopeless”. Sometimes when we have problems, we really feel helpless and we sometimes think that there is no more hope. We tend to forget that we just need to call on to God.
Amen! I am so thankful I have a Savior and Lord who is always with me. His mercies are new everyday, His loving guidance is always with us daily. Yes, we might be helpless sometimes, but certainly not hopeless! Thank you for the word of God! ♥
You’re welcome. His mercies are new every morning indeed. =) Have a nice day! =)
There have been times when I was younger when I felt hopeless in certain situations. But thing somehow always turned out for the better. Praying really does help.
Yes, somehow prayer not only changes the situation, but changes us and how we see the situation.;)
I smiled on the title pa lang. Lalo na nang mabasa ko na ang buong post. I used to feel both helpless and hopeless before. But now that I know that the Lord greatly loves us His children, I do feel helpless sometimes, but the hope never fades. The faith just keeps getting stronger because I know that the Lord will never forsake me, us. 🙂
What a lovely poem. This reminds me when my mom passed away because of breast cancer. It was really really painful but I chose to pray and asked for His love and guidance. Tapos naging okay na ko. Prayer is really powerful.
Love this 💖 Indeed true, sometimes we are tested through trials and pains because God wanted us to grow in character 🙂 This post will inspire many!
THanks. Hope it does. =) That’s true that we grow through trials. =)
