Photography: Doors

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Door.”

This is a collection of some photos of doors I’ve taken before. Doors can become great subjects or backgrounds for taking photos.

Framing. You can use doors as frames for your subject.

Background. The bigger the door, the better. This photo here, would have been better if the kids were centered and the white walls removed from the frame.

Subject. Small doors can be the subject and its wall the background. In this photo below,  I could have removed the image of the tower to emphasize the small door in the middle. I did not, because I don’t have time to edit, and to point out what could be improved in this photo.

  1. I really like your blog’s layout and pink, feminine details. Very visually pleasing 🙂 And I love how you focus on empowering women! Always a great thing. I was only a little disappointed because your instagram is private! Great photos as well! Looking forward to seeing your future posts

    1. Thank you! =) Oh, private? That’s why my instagram posts won’t show here. Thanks for the reminder! I’ll make it public.
